I was just wondering maybe we might need members for the Mp) Clan or any sc map making clan...

i feel its little empty and that it is not growing and it will not grow...

i was thinking if manybe we can even have a rank for the newer members and maybe we can each them or even let them learn becuase i am sure there are people who are intrested in map making and that they do it by themself but do not know staredit.net or such map making clans

so we should have some way to recruite...

i know it looks a little empty but most of the good map makers are always busy with their daily lives.

me and sniper have been trying to recruit people that have maps that are pretty good and descent. we recruit people like they use the 3 basic editors and know most of the commenly tricks.

we do have ranks for the new people. the C4 ( not making a map yet or just getting started )

we do promote people easly if your showing us that your improving your map making skills and your time making it.

right now we have Mp)Chriz, Mp)Efog, Mp)Shibby that i see that are activly making maps right now... (not affending people that are doing there maps but those are the ones that showed me there maps when they were in trouble)

you can advertise if you want to, just to bring people that know how to map make.

It's not just the clans, map-making itself has gone down. I think Mp) itself is doing ok activity wise. Daily, there's about one hour of active time in our channel. Some of our members seem to be actively map making but I think it can be improved. How? I wouldn't know. I do know that map making IS dying along with starcraft(and intelligence -_-). This game has been around for almost a decade. Pretty good compared to most other games but everything has it's limits. Then again I may be wrong. Maybe Starcraft won't come to an end =).

turn the map making democracy into a slave trade, where leaders of each clan constantly trade map makers in exchange for uber maps.

Hah! I've always had the idea of having an organized competivness in map making clans. Like sports leages(NHL,NBA,MLB)

But how exactly do you keep people from quitting?

We offered for a merge between aEp and Mp) to create more activity. Too bad, it would have worked out well.

maybe ill just go around asking ppl if they are interested becuase i am sure there are plenty of ppl who would like making maps or do make maps but dont got the source and make bad maps and they quit.

but if they like starcraft and make maps for fun i think its better for them to know this clan and other clans so they can enjoy it even more

btw i think im pretty active..
well not on the game itself.. but on site and im working on a few maps....
