Is it possible to not have controle over a unit, but it still has your color?

Get starforge in the download database, and in there go to players and select the colors. Just give the unit to a computer with the color changed to the same color as the player.

I already have starforge, but the map is for 5 players.

If you have any computers in your map, change that computer's color to the color of a player. If you want a computer for every player, you will have to have only 4 human.... Like DragonBard said, just click on "Players", then click on whatever computer you want, and then change it's "color number" to the color that you want.

The map has 5 players, and it has been done before with all the computer stuff you are talking about. Does anyone know how?

Player 12...

If you give unit to p12 then unit's color doesn't change. Also p12 is always neutral.

Or if you dont want them to control it as in moving it but it can still attack, just teleport it to a location is can't move to such as water or a cliff side (use hypers).

just an addition, not just player 12 retains its orginal owner color, player 9-12 all do.

p8-11 are not neutral... so only p12 will do
