I want to make a computer enemy act as it normally would if I were playing the map as Melee game type, while playing the map as Use Map Settings game type. How do I do this?

Action: Run AI Script at Location

Experiment with the scripts. Custom Level should work, but Campaign Insane supposedly fits preplaced towns better.

Action: Run AI Script

i think this going to be beter, game must to be just like Melee, he can run for ex. Campaing Medium!!!

I already tried the AI scripts. The only ones I have are Strategic Suicide Run, Random Suicide Run, or Rescuable Passive. Can I get more some place?

Those are the AI scripts with no location. The AI scripts for melee should be in the "Run AI Scripts at Location", with the locations probably being the enemy's base or main building (CC, Nexus, Hatchery).

Ah, thanks for that. But there are still problems. The only location I can get is 'Anywhere', and whenever I use Area Town or Campaign Insane or any other Campaign difficulty level, the enemy doesn't do anything but mine ore, even though I already set his ore and gas to 10000. Should I place prebuilt structures on his base?

Ok. Heres what you do for just a melee type game. Ill use the map BGH as an example. Pick a location of a start location. Place a hatchery/nexus/command center and 4 peon type units next to it(near the minerals). Place a location over the hatchery/nexus/command center placed. Name it something and go into triggers. Do this trigger.
Players:
Computer Player
Condition:
Always
Action:
Run AI Script At location: Use Custom Map Zerg/Protoss/Terran and run it at the location over that hatchery/nexus/command center. Make sure you use the right Race or the peons will only mine and build to the max. That is your problem I think.

u have to place a location at the place were you want the computer to mine and build.
Then for the trigger do the run script at location pick one of the scripts that the previous people said. I'd use the (race) Insane Campaign biggrin.gif

whoops just read the peeps post ontop of mine sry for repeating pinch.gif
