After the death of EUDs, I heard about a new trigger type known as EAS. Legacy even put it in Uberation beta versions. Why was it abandoned? The worst I can see happening is Blizzard patching it, but nobody uses it anyway, so the result of not using it always equals equals the worst result of not using it. Is there a security/virus problem?
1.13b patched every kind of Extended action, and if it didn't, I'm positive it was caught in 1.13c, 1.13d, or 1.13e.
There are no EAS Actions, only EAS conditions, which by virtue of alliance statuses being so small, probably don't do much.
I released EAS actions/conditions when EUDs were patched but Yoshi wouldn't let me host uBeR@TiOn with EUD + EAS actions so I just put it up with EUD conditions.
EAS triggers could basically only read values 0, 1, or 2 and write values 0, 1, or 2 making it perfect for enabling shield and etc (since it's a byte reading). However, quite soon along with ESS (Extended Switch Status) in I think 1.13c
