I discovered macromedia flash creator about a month ago and i got hooked since here are some of the short movie things i have created:

Say, those aren't bad. I'm working on an animated movie myself. At first I swore I'd avoid Flash at all costs, but now I'm kinda wishing I'd learned it.

But enough about me, you're doing a good job with making the stick figures movements get more realistic with each movie. Do a lot more of them and when they're really good you should use them as sort of a skeleton for more fleshed out characters. I usually animate the difficult shots with stickfigure-ish characters and then draw the muscles and clothes on them once I'm happy with the way it looks. Also, I liked the motion blurs you have on the last one.

No, flash isnt that hard for the basics. as you see in my movies i did frame by frame animation so that means that i drew each individual frame. when you get into the more complicated stuff using action scripting you wish you were dead.

i am currently working on a gunbound flash, if you guys have ever seen Counter Strike De Aztec or De Dust those are hilarious. i hope to model my flashes similar to his.

Ok, this is good for beginning flashes. Here are two tips:
-Increase the fps. This will make your flashes much smoother, and yes, I realize this is more work, but it pays off.
-Add background music. This makes it seem a bit more professional. This also makes the sound FX seem less choppy, or harder to hear any flaws.
Other than that, you're on the right track. I notice that your flashes follow the same style as Blue2, so I would email him and ask him how to improve on flashes, for he is VERY wise in that area.

Your first few were a bit horrible but we are all like that when we start out. The last 2 were pretty well made though.

And if you are a beginner you should not really worry about making an animation to host on a website for all to see. Just make it for yourself to experiment and maybe show your friends. I never bothered with the music when I just started. I can make ok animations now but I just hate the drawing. I'm more into action scripting for now, making games.

Last two were good. The first one, horrible. The second one had pontential. I like the last fight scene, it was very well choreographed and and thought out. The animation and sounds were ok, like HolySin said, increase fps. You might want to add some more background as well, like clouds or a setting.

A bit off topic, but could you tell me where you got flash?

Ive seen it before, fiddled with it but never got a chance to use it at home.

I have a crappy flash player, from the looks of it its very hard.

Olright you can get flash from macromedia.com for a 30 day free trial. there are flash tutorials at flashkit.com. i got my flash from limewire its "sharing"

OMG those are awsome. I wish i had flash but its so expensive. Im the flash master (no joke) i create such awsome stuff on it at my school...ITS SO FUN

why dont you just get a "shared" one from limewire?

I'm wondering what your fps is for your last flash. Is it 12? Or is it something else... Seems a little slow to me.

its 14 but i drew frame by frame for ever 2 frames so its really going at 7fps LOL. i was too lazy to draw every single frame. X)

Yes i am currently working on a gunbound flash. this will be similar to the Counterstrike De_aztec and De_dust. if you havent seen those flashes they are hilarious and very entertaining. My progress is very slow on my gunbound flash. I have only managed to draw the 8 characters and thier mobiles, along with the lobby background. Now i have to create the map Meta Mine background and animate it. I will probolly create a few more stick flashes as small projects.

yeah fights are kinna hard to do because the time and frames kinna get outta control. like you totally loose perspective of the time each frame is. It also gets very monotonous. im not particuarly fond of madness although its cool. if you see bread crums and sacrafice or a years progress those are very nice animations. The frame by frame one in bread crums and sacrafice is very nice. you should take a look at it.
