I myself am not a fan of symmetry in maps, I don't think it really makes it look like an actual landscape. Other than that the map looks balanced, but hell what do I know, I've had one map said that it was bad and one that was thought to be a joke....

Most professional maps are close to symmetrical or at least of a nice fitting pattern, I think ruggedness is different than symmetry though.
I think that ruggedness is just jagged edges, different colored terrain, and no squares.
Symmetry is the basic shape of the map, which all my maps in fact are symmetrical.
Why don't you like me? Cause I speak the truth? I'll try to be less brutally honest for now on since no one but valug takes advice well.
Now, about the map. Valug = the next trcc? WHO KNOWS!?
(BTW, if you dont know trcc, what i stated above would be a good thing)
You keep on pumping out maps and they seem to be improving. Keep it up. 2 of trcc's maps got into the blizzcon map contest.
Definately fix the cliffs, you cannot even get units up by purps mins.
The choke IS wide, but you can fix that. Or not, and have a new style..
I think most people would have put the gas expo right outside the choke and then another min only towards the middle, but thats your choice, I think its fin the way it is.
Overall I think its a bit to hard for zerg without and expo at the choke, they will be forced to three hatch and go from there.. (which is one of the benefits for having an expo at the choke)
GJ, keep improving.
