Staredit Network -> Modding Assistance -> Tutorial for putting unit sprites in mod programs

I know about how you can make the sprites of units look different but still have the unit properties. I want to know how I can upoad my sprites of units into a program and be able to see my sprites of the units while I play my mod. I have the program IceCC but is that what I use to input my own sprites to replace the original game sprites? What do I do here?

If you really want to replace them permanently you can put your files in the correct path in your Patch_rt.mpq file.

I don't want to make it permanent, I just want to be able to use my sprites for the units in my mod.
