Create a unit that the player controls. That player controls no other units. Now, with a mobile grid system and hypertriggers, move groups of cloaked flying terran buildings over each of the sections that should not be seen. Use enough buildings to create heavy shadows. Then, have 2 computer players as enemies. Both consider the human player as an enemy, but the human considers one of them to be a friend. Give all units under the section of vision to the computer that the human isn't allied with, and the unit will only be able to attack in front of them.

M = Unit
B = Blind spot (flying invisible terran buildings)

___________
|.....|.....|.....|
|___|___|___|
|..B..|..M..|..B..|
|___|___|___|
|..B..|..B..|..B..|
|___|___|___|

The visible area would change depending on which direction the unit is facing (which sector of the mobile grid the unit has last moved into).

Of course, this only works if you can create a permanently cloaked flying terran building and move several of them over the same spot. Which I doubt would work. Somebody wanna give it a try?

I dont think flying buildings will block vision.. And Move action won't let you stack them on top of each other.

Why don't you try making it?

To many units, to much lag. Not to mention that it probably wont work...

Cloked buildings would add a messy shadow at best...

I will make a prototype of my Unit Vision System and I will upload it soon. Basically, it will map the structure of a terrain around you and shoots radar beam(scourges) in 16 different angles and if radar detects any wall between enemy and you, the enemy that is in that angle won't be able to see you.

FYI: I'm not talking about fog of war.

This is a good visual description.
Basically a mobile grid is made by creating and destroying (or moving back and forth) units in a certain pattern.
