IN the map rock blocks by dabbu, find in dl data base. How the hell did he do that?
is is a sprite?
Can you give us a link to the page or the file please?
http://www.staredit.net/index.php?download=2580 He's referring to the beginning of the map when a Yamato Gun "creates" an Egg.
I don't think the maps protected, and if it is, just look at it in Trigger Viewer. That should answer your questions.
I don't know how that thing was done but that map was sweet! Nice RPG for how short it is.
do u mean u dont know?
triggers viewer sucks cuz you dont know which trigger to look at u see
It would be in the same position as it would on any other editor. I think that the whole yamoto gun was the AI script of the battlecruiser firing on a dark templar maybe (it is cloaked) or sme other unit. I think there is an AI script for casting a Yamoto Gun but since the unit was the only thing in the area then the spell went after the unit

no it doesnt suck...
however it sucks becuase its still buggy sometime
but its like the best program ever made
I wouldn't say the best but it is one of my top favorite. I find it to be very nice to be able to go into a protected or non protected map and be able to see the triggers in it. Good thing he did not make it where it would open the map up and then no protection would work on maps then... Very good probram though.
It could just be a prefectly executed Wait trigger that just creates it when its done
The trigger could be the the yamoto gun kills the enemy in one shot and then when the enemy it kills dies then the egg is made. I would think that hyper triggers are on since everything goes so fast but it is simple I would think on how he could do what he did.
There is a Missile Turret the Yomato targets. If I remember correctly, it acquires the Missile turret as a Yomato target automatcially because of its range to the turret. he has it timed so that no matter the direction it faces, it will acquire the turret as a target, but not complete the Yomato blast. Then it moves the Battlecruiser to the other side of the map and at the time it would have fired, triggers remove the Missile Turret and give you vision to that area. By the time the yomato blast reaches the now missing Turret, you have vision in that area. The Battlecruiser will stop its Yomato charge if the Turret is removed before it fires the shot, which happens once it is moved across the map.
it is possible he uses an Area Town Script to encourage the Battlecruiser to use the Yomato Cannon, but I don't think it is required.
Missle turret? He could have something as simple as the Dark Templar which is cloaked. The turret could be used but I would use the templar in a case like this.
yeah but for some reason i think the bcs are more attracted to turrets
That's odd... DTs have a higher Destroy score... Maybe the lack of an air attack has something to do with it.

BCs only yamato high tech units or a defense building, sice they can do a nasty lil bit o dmg

Dts don't even attack the air so a bc wouldn't waste a yamato on it, it would just attack it straight up. Bcs love to yamato defence buildings above everything else. If you guys remember when you started what do you use yamato for? Not the units usually. If you were smart you would take out the missile turrets, cannons, bunker, and spores. The computer acts the same way so using one of those buildings (bunker should have units in it) will provoke it more.
can anyone open the map in trigger viewer, it opens for me, but the triggers arent there, it says how many there are, but doesnt show them....
trigger viewer still has that bug where it keeps loading and never finish :\ all the trigger i wanted see i couldnt open the map with trigger viewr

dam that sux, well if anyone can figure it out, im sur it would b loved by all of SEN map-makers
ADDITION:
o ya, also, the warp speed thing is nice in that game
yeah i figured it out. Its having a bc attacking a turrent then removing it... it will yamato quicly. correction, move it way then removei t
thats y, i was trying to remove rite away, movnig then removing makes sense
Could have saved yourself trouble and asked someone (like me

) for a map...
what do u mean for a map, he just wanted to know how it was done, didnt want an example, it just uses bc and missile turret
