Well I've been seeing plenty of forum game topics in the Null category and there are other people who want to just chat in the null instead of playing games. Think this might work out?

If they were to I think they would put it in creative works because people have thought the ideas and put them into play. They may not however to do bandwidth or it may be to much forums in the creative works.

I just think it suits Null though.

I think it is a good idea. You could just move the catagory under the Other or under Null even...

I for one am against such idea. I'm against 90% of all forum games that are currently circulating around SeN.
Making a forum for forum games would only encourage people to make additional games.

For now, I say keep them in Null. If I were to do as I pleased, I would've closed all those forum games. We are here to make maps, have discussions, exchange information and help others. We are not here to spam the boards with forum games that require you to post 3 words.

Heck, I'm sure a lot of people came here not for the maps, but to be entertained.
And I bet a lot of people stay here because of the atmosphere and society here, not the helpful map...uhh...help?

I agree with nuclear... We already have too many forums. Null is for 'creative' forum games and non-linear discussion while light discussion is the place to go for light chatting... serious discussion for serious discussion.

Arg... now that I look, there are like 10 forum games. Back in July the only 'forum game', which isn't even one actually, was the Listening To thread, so yeah, there weren't any.. (Maybe word association).

Why do people keep creating them? Especially these crappy ones.. religion game? Urfgh...

Why do you guys participate in forum games?

- It's not like people are going to read the 100+ pages of posts that are no longer than 10 characters. Who would have the time to do that?
- The only person that'll read your post is the one that somehow associates his post with yours. And he and everyone else will forget about it right away.
- In the What are you listening to Thread, noone's really going to read your list of what you're listening to. Basically, it's like you're talking to a wall.
- In games like "How will this person above you die," it's always the same people replying to the same people. It gets old.

- The only thread game I would find enjoyable would be something like a story thread one, where you continue the story. Then it would be fun to read.

Sure, the forum games are pretty stupid, I still have the most fun I possibly can with them.
I like that forum game with the mspaint pictures ;p

I agree with whoever said that there is enough catagories as there is there shouldnt be one for more random stuff that is like having two nulls

I remember suggesting a forum game forum under some discussion about spam.
Anyways, it doesn't really matter to me, most are garbage anyways, except for a few.

Idea on the v5 palate: Forum games in Null are marked with a Game: heading.

IP> It would be nice to add an option like "Hide/Show Forum Games", and other topic headered threads.
