My true blue steps on making a map.
Pre-map, pick an editor, use SCMD (it is the best)
1)Terrain
-First do Isometrical terrain
-Then do square
2)Locations
-create and name them all
3)Units
-Name them
-Place them
-Balance them out
4)Triggers
-Map setup with switches first in the order they progress
-Systems(continuous triggers
-Hyper triggers
5)Load screen
6)Special FX and trailer
7)Testing
8)Protection(Uberation)
9)beta testing(test at least 10 games before fixing minor errors)
10)Release Final
And map done.

OK kept_wheat got it almost perfect
however he forgot something
Makeing a FX and trailor is optional
Also most rps wont have hypertriggers
O ya and uhh
LOCKING IS NOT UBERISAZTION
if u ask me its destrutization, rgs and defence is one thing but in an rp?
the only reason ive heard for lovking anything but rpg is to "presserve makers name"
WHO CARES ok im srry that was harsh but honestly what is so bad a out the makers name being changed.
and another thing i have NEVER seen ANY mpa stolen and i personally unlock maps
in short the lcoking thing is conpletely egotistic and hoever made it dosnt deserve to play anything because of what he did
