Well I've been seeing that after like 25 posts, a Topic becomes Hot. But mainly most topics have more than 25 posts. Can't the Topic become Hot after like 100 posts?

I don't like how Hot topics stay hot even after they become not-so-hot.

Actually, topics became hot at 15. I bumped it up to 25, simply because there is so much more posting than when it was 15.

Moving it up once again may be required. Something to about 40 might deem correct.
For me, it doesn't really matter though, those posts could've been spam or well done posts. A hot topic tells you nothing if the thread is good or not.

v5 idea: Mark topics as hot based on how frequently they get posts; i.e. averaging over 5 posts per day in a topic it is "hot" etc.
