Ya, this is in the tutorials. But I don't think you can just place it down at any time. I think you must make the p14 scarab the first unit to be placed onto the map.

It does have to be the first unit placed or set to the first unit. anyways about your other problem just make 1 lvl the normal ovies without the upgrade then make another lvl with the hero overlord that has the upgrade no matter what biggrin.gif

I get tired of people criticizing the different editors and trying to tell people which one they should use. Just tell them the different options, give them some feedback, and let them decide for themselves instead of telling them which one is better. I prefer starforge because i like to type out my triggers because i type faster than i click those stupid drop down lists. But i use both. That is my opinion. Since he is coming from xtra editor, i am sure he will probably prefer scmdraft2 with the classic trigger plugin. I encourage everyone to use both editors to their advantages instead of trying to narrow it down to only one "correct" editor.

Both editors allow you to place for player 14. Make sure that the scarab is the FIRST unit you ever place.

*Note: Any player 14 unit besides the scarab will give your map x2 speed. Also, make sure this is placed first.

Anything Placed Before The P14 Scarab Will Freeze, Or Possibly Crash The Map.

Sorry, I'm a thread stealer, but can you use the SCM Draft feature to copy, remove the units, place the map revealer, then paste the units back in? When I tried this it crashed but shouldn't it work?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Oo.Turin.oO on 2005-11-23 at 16:31:33
You can use cut instead of copy and it copies the units to the clipboard and kills them. but it leaves terrain. then you could put a map revealer and then paste the units in.
