Okay, I've been wanting to make a Resident Evil game for a while now. Yea, yea. Been plenty of them, but Hell. Anyway, I noticed in RE:RPD the zombies always went for the Nuetral tanks first, even thought the tanks did not move, attack, etc. I have tried giving them to player 9 and making 9 n enemy to the computer, but nothing. Tried using a nuetral player, and they attack back.

Can anybody help me out?

i think that there is an AI Script that is called "value this area higher" that should get the units to attack the tanks first or else make it so there are location covering the tanks and when no tanks are in those locations unally the player(the player was supposed to be allied at the begginig(might be a little bit unuseful but ii still posted it tongue.gif )

Maybe the tanks were originally owned by the zombie player's enemy and then given to P12.

ok so u need a target system for were a weapon shoots? cuz i made a system for my resident evil already that is a shooting system with ammo and clips with a hotkey system that lets u shoot at a target in range? dooos whaterz i sazers have anyrthingrs to doers withers whaters ur talkingers about

on the map you saw this in was the "nuetral" units in the front? Also, computers usually attack what attacked them, and siege tanks aside from guardians have the longest attack range and will usually be the first to attack. Therefore, computers try to take out what hit them frist (the tanks).

No, no. The tanks don't move, attack, or anything. They are supposd to be a blockade that the Zombies have to destroy before they get to your men. It worked flawlessly in RE:RPD.

Wait you WANT them to attack them first? Well then just use value this area higher and have the area span over the tanks (blockade) area.

If the tank were to move could you have trigger that moves the location to the tank (always) and the enemies would keep harassing that tank?

The tanks in this map represent a blockade, and I want to do the same thing. The thing is, even though they are under fire from enemy units, the Zombies will still attack the tanks first.

Um... do they start allied to you, and if "neutral player brings exactly 0 tank to current location" they unally with you?

I just asked the same question and got it answered. If you tell the units to patrol, they will attack the tanks first befire the guys behind the barrier.
