How are we gonna set up the creation of mods?

Example: we have 4 data modders and 2 projects, therefore, we have 2 data modders for each project

how would we have 2 people editing the same files at the same time?

Ive been wondering about that as well, lol. Probably something like when one can't work, the other will, and vice versa.

Weapons.dat, units.dat, etc. can be edited separately.

Yes they can be but they ALL have to be based off of the other .dat files since they can mess up your values (in some cases)

The reason for them messing up your values is cause some .dat files have pointer data readers that point to other .dat files

yes but for the most part they dont. The ones that do will be editted by somebody and just that person at the same time. And people do go away and stuff so you need more than 1.

One person could easily do weapons while the other did units.

That sounds good as long as the same person that does units does images also (images is linked to units)
