Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> [SOLVED] The New Colours...
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Canadas_Modding_Prodigy on 2005-11-27 at 12:37:52
I dont have Starforge or PROEdit but I have the new Scm Draft 2 (beta 5.5) and it offers the following new player colours; Green, Pale Green, Blueish Grey, Dark Aqua, Pale Yellow and Tan. Unfortunately, ever since I started trying to use these colours. Ive had the hardest time ever! Ive only managed to get the game to let me use green once, but it was player 9 and their A.Is are pretty buggy.

If anyone creates a map that works and lets you use the new player colors, then please send it to me. I love the Pale Green colour! Same with Blueish Grey!
Thanks smile.gif

Colors only work on Brood War maps.

The most current version is SCMDraft 0.6.0 Beta#2 so get updating tongue.gif

Try removing Random Start Locations for the forces.

Also make sure you aren't opening/saving the map in SCXE. It's not compatible with the extended player colors and will set them back to default.

It works for me when i change player colors but like he said SCXE will delete them if u open the map in it. So always do player colors, unit hp etc last unless you only use sf but still do it last will save you some trouble

I find that using LegacyWeapon's Uberation is the best way of changing the player colors. I got all 255 colors out of that program without a problem. SCM Draft might be the same and that you are not using it correctly. Do you have StarCraft: Brood War? If you don't then just forget about the player colors in your maps.
