How do you tell one advanced member from another? I say we should submit maps to testers who will tell your map skill. If the tester claims you are average, then your map skill will turn a diffrent color, and become unchangable. That way, those who are true map makers can be seperated from those who claim they are advanced and ask noob questions.

No, I think it should remain the way it is.

Remember at the top. If they have "advanced" set, and they dont know how to move a unit from one place to another, you aren't entitled to tell them.

Just say "Your skill level is currently set to Advanced. Thats all the information I'll give you based upon your level."

That area is to help them get the help they need. Doesn't benifit them if they lie.

EDIT: Thanks to clokr_'s discriptions, I've added this to the registration page:

Moderators should be able to edit the Mapping Skill and have an option so that the user can't change it back. If they don't like it, then they can take their case to you, Yoshi.

I'm aware of that.

Administrators are able to edit peoples mapping skill levels, however, is there really a point? They can just put it back.

Thus, its maybe better if you just dont give them the help they need until they set their level properly. The more you help him, the more you encourage others to do this.

You are free to lock topics that seem like their skill level is too high.

Yeah its the internet explorer thing, its makes it smaller so it fits on your screen.. if you hove the cursor over the image for a few seconds then a little box appears in the lower right hand side of the image. Click That. it adjusts the image to the size yoshi uploaded it to originally.

That user was one of the reasons l propose to have a 'certified' map skill. If you cant live it up, dont let them.
