Is there a way to get 2 temps to merg when owned by a computer?
im cloaking the temps so i can cloak teh archon and i need the computer to merge them
a way how?

No there is no AI script for that. A way that I think might make them merge is have them under attack and that they cannot storm whatever is attacking them then they might merge.
I think there was a spells list on how to make the computer do certain things but I can't find it right now.
Probably use an AI script, theres a Tutorial on comps using spells somewhere
The archon won't be cloaked if you find out how to merge them because it is "creating a new unit". So, you would have to find a way to just cloak an archon.
Well there is no way to make them merge accordign to the spells list, but I'm guessing if you have just the high templars after they cast storm and do not have enough energy left, they will merge, but don't think this is a right answer. I'm just throwing a theory out there...
Well if none of those works you can always just use a trigger like
Bring 2 temps to somewhere
action
move location on temps
wait 1000
preserve
--------------
condition bring 2 temps to location
action
remove 2 temps
create 1 archon
preserve
-------------
and u can add some little effects to make it look nicer

im going to have a computer have it created then just have the units given to the players then moved to the area i want them in
and there isnt ai script for merging for archons
but i think the idea about the being attacked and cant storm might work..

not if you disable (moveable) 2 temps. then when you merge, the archon will be cloaked also.
so your telling me that if i cloak a hydralisk and then morph it into a lurker it will still be cloaked?
Make a map to test it genius :-P. I don't think it would work, but I don't care enough to try. In reference to making the temps merge, I'd go with that one guys idea about centering location on them to do it.

i tired to use the ai insane script for protoss, but after they stormed and i attacked them they jsut ran away. Still testing for you though...

No im fine, i don't really care if you can or not, but if you could, that would help you out on your cloak the lurker in your defence wouldn't it?
maybe... i dont know... thats if it works. put hydra attack to 0 and keep scv in the little camp until you evolve the cloaked hydra into a cloaked lurker.
right now i discontinued the map... dang school
plus i didnt really see alot of people that were interested or whatever... might as well finish it.
Well since your map is a defense, no one is really going to make a big deal about like something else that is totally original, if you get what i mean. Its a good game, but its not like "new" so your not gonna get that "craze" over it.

Here i might be able to help you out. I did campaign insane and just put a bunch of heroes so i could watch hwat it took for the comp to merg temps. at about 30 minutes into the game, they finally merged them into high templars. Here is the map and the replay. Maybe it might have somethign to do with the death counts or something i dont know.
Well No one reposted so i guess i have to edit to avoid double posting.... I put the exact number of units in the game that were at the end of the 30 minutes of gameplay, and put in the exact amound of deaths, but they just started over with zealots, even though they already had every building...Here i put this map up. They did not even merg temps. They just stood there. Wonder if it just does it after 30 minutes of gameplay for "campaign insane".
BTW, the first paragraph is about the first map and replay and the second paragraph is about the second map.
Well you can try aiscript(SetProtossCampaignEasy) or something like that. but maybe there are other ways..

I don't think so havent you ever played crystallic cannon defense? Those units are "cloaked" and he creates them in teh game
Hmm wow complicated......Well maybe you could have the templars have 0 energy at the location and 1 computer attacking them and they may merge and when they merge order all of the attacking unit to die and set the archons hp to 100!
