i currently only StarEdit, but cannot download any other utilities avaliable for me out there. As i started making maps, i noticed some maps with more than 3 upgrades. However, I cannot make it more than 3 in a regular StarEdit campaign. Do i have to download other programs? or are there ways to make it 255 upgrades just with the StarEdit... Thank you.

Starcraft Extra Editor is the most similar to regular staredit, if you are like staredit a lot. I would recommend starting out with that, and progressing onto the more powerful editors such as stardraft and starforge later.

I think he ment SCM Draft, lol. I would have called it StarDraft myself sometimes also, lol

starforge is better 
but its a more advanced editor so just make your way to it over time
