Ive searched through the forum, im new to map making, the scoreboard is visible by all players? Im making a clan recruitment map, and i'd like to keep track of how they manage their minerals/gas, so scoreboard would be perfect, but its always visible by everyone? If so, any tips or ideas on how to do it elsewise?

Yes the scoreboard is visible by all players. Lets get this straight - you need a new way to find out how much minerals/gas the player has?

exactly.

Then you would do, Current Player accumulates X amount of minerals. There is no need for the leaderboard. The leaderboard just allows the players within the game to be able to see certain statistics.

By the current player accumulates X amount of minerals... how would that in the end be visible by only the clan members watching the match.

Honestly, I recommend watching the replay. There really is no way to show the minerals, without making a trigger for every single mineral amount and every single gas amount...

there might be a hack that does it??

To keep track inside the game of how much another players minerals/gas is actually a very hard thing. You can't use Player X accumulates X mins/gas, Modify resources for current player to add 1 mins/gas Preserve trigger because that will just keep giving you the minerals. I would just use the scoreboard to keep track and who cares if other players can see what their enemies score is.

You should make the first one say w/e u wanted it to say, then for ur second scoreboard make it "scoreboard, all p's minerals" its kinda confusing without my editer open...you should really check the tutorials on the site, mapping>tutorials>viewAll>then look for the specific one, check under M so you can find "mineral" or "Minerals". if that doesnt work search "leaderboard" and you could even search "player leaderboard". Just go throught the whole thing go A-Z. well good luck.

Piece.
