• Interacte - Walk by items, objects, or people to activate certain actions like commentary
• Alien Sounds - Hear the alien die when you shoot it or blow it into peices
• Facehuggers - You can be facehugged, after 2 minutes a chestburster comes out of you, killing you Progress
• Should this map have a area where u choose ur weapon/unit in the beggining or would u rather u are given a random default weapon (this doesnt include finding other weapons throughout game)?
• Should i make it so u have to shoot aliens manually? (if i were too u wouldnt be able to quite tell when u are reloading, which might screw up the interface and gameplay of the map) but it would add a form of skill to beat when faced with aliens

Seems alot like an Aliens Map i made before.. Search Aliens SE in download section and check it out.

Your funny... I just like StarCraft a lot. Plus this map is looking really cool. First I thought it would be jsut like Area 51 but then I noticed that it isn't.

And Area 51 doesnt have much features... just running around blowin shiz up.. lol i made that map and Aliens SE there both pretty basic maps just Aliens SE has more features.. this map looks great. hopefully it doesnt turn out shizty.. also make it really easy to do stuff i hate hard maps like i need to do like 20 things just to do one thing.

Will we see or battle the alien queen in map? if a Facehugger gets in close range to you will it like disappear and then turn you into alien few mins later? if so will a chamber be ready to take out facehugger before it takes over your body? kinda like freeze chamber then a robot does it for ya. I'll test it

omfg please tell me you didn't use the ammo/firing system in the toturials, and please tell me that the firing system doesn't -1 bullet after 1 guy is killed when u shoot like 5 at them....

Well vizual, I have a system that you could use to randomize the bullets taken away when you get a kill with a certain weapon but it takes a lot of triggers.

Why would you want to randomize the bullets? That would mean that one shot out of a 5 clip would be your last sometimes...

I really don't understand the problem with the 1 kill = -1 bullet. It's simple, and realistic enough. It's also quite easy to trigger. There's no need to make it count the amount of times you actually damaged the monster and subtract that many bullets. I say keep it how you have it, most fun alien type maps have the shooting system like that and i think it's good. IMO i would not want it to be be like you shot at it 3 times -3 bullets, because then for the enemies that take more bullets then you have clips, you'll just be screwed and die. This isn't a FPS game. We can't hide behind crates to reload. The AI in FPS games is so much different then in a game like starcraft, it would be impossible to be able to reload while in a battle and survive (If reloading takes time which it should). And the system for which your using Duece (In your RE map) for shooting, just wouldn't work for a map like this. From the screenshots i saw there's multiple enemies attacking at once. In your system, unless you used a real small location (smaller then 1x1) then multiple zerglings could die from 1 bullet. Also, you'd most likely die every single battle because well it takes a while to shoot 10 probes at zerglings without dying. Stick with the 1 kill = -1 bullet.

Really took few bullets kill 1 alien and 1 alien could wipe out a whole marine squad -_-; due fact so fast n strong. While a predator could killshizload of stuff.

Well in these games we only have one marine each. So i don't think we'd want it to be that realistic. Because then 1 zergling > all of us.

Yes i have something planned during the end. also yes for the facehuggers, thats how it works moogle except u dont turn into an alien , and alien bursts out of ur chest. havent u guys seen any aliens movies? gheez.
ADDITION: and thank you Wrathlord u made my point more clear, aliens will attack you in hoards, it brings out more action, more blood and its easier

I know its a chest burster i seen movie n played avp =) 1 n 2. I know goes facehugger, chest burster, after eaten grow into alien and so on. =)> sounds fun so far. To open some doors can a marine hack it open it? if can be hacked Via panel unless you rather use C4 blow it open or something =\

yeah look at the items, there gonna use hacking menchanims or just plain C4 to blow up invincible stuff like barricades. Each play gets specific weapons and units. =]
