Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> [SOLVED] Adding pictures in map?

I've seen where people have a beacon on the ground but when you click on it nothing shows up. Almost as if it's part of the terrain. Has anyone else seen maps with this and how can I make it?

Just make a beacon sprite. Use starforge.
Or, Disable the beacon.

When you disable a beacon with the "Set Doodad State" trigger it becomes cloaked (though you can actually still see it) and, like other cloaked units, you can't select it.

first of all you have to be able to see the beacon, you disable it so you wont be able to click it, if you bring a detector, or else build one turret/cannon or w/e that can detect cloaked units the effect will be lost causing the beacon to cloak, so disable+share view but no detectors near the beacon got it? wink.gif

yea just disable the bunker so that it glows or w/e, but if u do multiple ones, dont do disable all bunkers, u will have to disable 1 at a time, it sux...

Thanks guys but I figured it out. I had it set to place units, not sprites, even though I was on the sprite layer.
