I'm making Pac-Man Bound... can someone help me on the minimap!? If you open it up in SF or something or single player the minimap is normal... but on B.Net the minimap is slanted...?
if you ask me this is sick...lol...id keep it that way!
Uhh when I played it on B-net it wasnt crooked for me I wonder how you guys saw it as crooked but I didnt
How about a screenshot? those are nice and cuddly. I want one.
Crooked? COOL! This is a stumping one.... it's either you have a coding error on your starcraft, or you computers messed. Im not sure.... Bad ram chip maybe? move it away from any static electricity.

I really have NO CLUE what happened to this map... I think it's cursed... some see it, some don't... it's creeping me out a bit...
I dont see how a ram chip near static electricity would only cause a small error like a minimap being misread. If did that surely it would have more problems, and not only in starcraft!
Ill take a screen shot of the map for i-is-will-own-you, he showed me the map.
EDIT:
Got it:
[attachmentid=15976]
I dont know if this will come out slanted or not..
EDIT(2):
YEh thats what its Ment to look like. in game for me it comes out slanted looking.
Maybe your heads crooked

Just kiddin. It looks straight to me... I'll have to think about this one. Also... a bad ram chip can do a lot of screwy things... trust me... and static electricity can do some stuff to your motherboard and stuff.
EDIT - Nice map by the way.
Yeh but i still stand by the fact that it would do alot of other things. the Chances are extremely small of Static electricity inside a computer (or near.. very near) would only make 1 screwy thing on one small program on the entire computer!

Hehe, good point

That screen shot was just of the map in the editor. He says its normal in the editors but slanted in the actual game. Someone get a screenshot of the actual game becuase my SC is buggz0rd right now.
The slanted minimap is a result of saving the map as "Final Release" in starforge. I don't believe this happens 100% of the time.
DANG! I knew it. I saved a map as final release in sf and the minimap came out slanted. HolySin is right. Now I gotta finish and fix my slanted minimap map.
Yeh, as i entered this thread again i was suspecting the protection..
It seemed odd that th unprotected ver came out fine and the only wrong one was the protected ver.
Try using ProEdit to protect your map... It has better protection anyways.
No no, use uberation

Hell id just keep it i was thinking about trying to get it to work on my new map im making
And Use UbEr@TiOn not Proedit Ubertion Messed up onea my maps before... so I dont trust it... That map took me a week to!
Use Togikon's map protector. It's found on
Angelfarto's Website. It's under files and should be the last one.

Make a copy of your map and protect the copy.
Besides, Uber@tion has gotten alot more stable and less corrupty now.
Ive seen the slanted-ness all the time. Its really... annoying. Really.
Starforge is a really bug master it is. Final version slants only certain map sizes. Thats all I know.
GO Togikon!
So, any updates on getting a screenshot of this madness?
I really want to see it, but for me the map just turns out normal whenever I make it.
Lessons learned:
1. Make a copy of your map before protecting it.
2. That's it...
A few other things:
1. SF no longer does the slant protection.
2. uBe2 has gone through several updates.
