I have recently created a new campaign called Fall of the UED. This campaign details the death of the UED and episode II will chronicle the rise of a new goverment.

If you want to be a Beta tester PM or email me. In your "Beta testing packet" you will recieve three things, the first three maps (Prolouge,Level 1, and level 2) a forum to fill out, and a brief rundown\outline of the story.

Please only sign up if you are serious I need about twenty testers to start. If you are a tester don't complain about voice acting, it will be added later, if my campaign is good, I will apply to S.A.V.A.G.E. if it's deemed unworthy, I will ask any one on the board with a mike to chip in.

Also if you have any special skills (I.E. graphics customazation specifically portraits) and you want to help PM me.

Once again this a a beta and my first campaing. Constructive cristicism is appreciated, saying it sucks is not. I take that back "If you say it sucks because, at trigger 0.1b there is glitch xxy or something like that fine but don't include an opinion with out back up.

Finally if you are intrested in becoming a "Core beta tester" (i.e. you get updates as soon as they are released in the roughest possible stages, and respond in detail) then e-mail or pm me, other wise just download play and post your opinion.

The Full beta packet contains the two maps, a story line rundown and detailed feedback forum. The Standard file only contains maps.

Okay. I just kinda sorta played the first map, and looked at both of them in scxe. First, 5 triggers in UED's Fall, and 8 triggers in Botched Rescue. Even Blizzard campaigns have more triggers than this. Why would I even bother playing a UMS map if there are only 5-8 events in the entire map?

Secondly, they both have EXACTLY the same terrain: a single square platform, and a bunch of empty space. The only difference in the layout between the two maps is the placement of some of red's units. Other than that, purple's units are almost the same in both, and that pointless overlord in the corner is in the same spot twice.

Third, about voice acting, it's not even worth it. The dialogue is awkward, and it's not worth the trouble of recording and editing like three lines of dialogue that don't even connect with each other anyway. Good lord.

Now, about how to fix all of that. Just throw the maps in the trash, and stop making maps for a little while. Play through just about any of the new stuff at samods.org, and you'll see the standard set for modifications. Once you've finished a map, open it up in an editor, and look at all the pretty triggers. Once you see how they make good maps and campaigns, then you'll be ready to make something of your own.
