Okay I made a mod with custom unit responses and changing the units.dat file. I made the mpq and then the exe using MPQDraft. I wanted my brother (who doesn't live in my house) to try my progress, but the sempq requires the original CD. He has used a no-cd loader to play the game as I use the original CD to create my mod. What can he/I do? Guess he'll be taking the CD from me unless I do something.
Burning a copy of your cd shouldn't proove too problematic.
Also, try using a cd image instead of a crack, it works just as well as a crack.
Using a cd image? How?
Thanks in advance.
Which CD are you burning a copy of? ahhh I don't think I am allowed to say how to copy CDs...
I know how to copy CDs, but even using a copy, the SEMPQ won't launch because it doesn't recognize the CD, since it's not the original, which doesn't happen with my original CD.
If you use better cd copiers it will be exactly the same. If we aren't allowed to talk about how to do it here i won't, but you can find out at daemon-tools.cc they tell you what free programs will make exact cd images you can burn

Starcraft can't be more than $10...
What's the harm in getting another copy?
You need 20 for both discs.
I don't think you can buy the original only anymore

Last I checked, Starcraft Battle Chest was only about $9.95 total. THis includes Starcraft and the expansion, as well as the player's guide.
And you cant burn it? whats with that? maybe it needs you specific cd?
