What are your comments about discrimination?

In life, you encounter people you don't like. When you find that a lot of people you don't like share a certain trait, it becomes difficult to view a new person with said trait in an unbiased manner. The people in power have people and groups of people they don't like, and that discrimination comes out (either on purpose or not), that can't be helped. It will always be part of life. What CAN be helped is to teach children (as I am trying to do, although I have my own discriminations) not to share the assumptions of other people. That hatred can be learned from parents and other role models, even if they never experience something bad from those groups themselves.

At the current moment the white man is the most discriminated against.

He can't walk down certian streets, he has to watch every word he says, he is not allowed to do certian things while other races are free to do what ever they want, and if they aren't allowed they say its hate crime or racism.

in hawaii the white man are descriminated against mostly because of they way that they stole the hawaiian islands... (you can research this if you want its pretty interesting)

but that is not the only factor. since hawaii is becoming a "growing" state with the rich white people from the mainland coming in thier arrogance and ignorance about the way to share aloha(search it if you dont know true meaning) is also tearing away at the white mans reputation.

there is a racist term that is for the white man it is called Haole it literally means no breath this is because Ha means the breath of life and Aole means no. when the ancient hawaiians saw how the white man prayed they were appauled to see how short thier prayers were therefore they were given the name Haoles. it is a wide used word... whatever this may be boring

anyway discriminination is one of those things that cannot be eliminated as long as tehre is a human race. it is one of our characteristics.
i will not deny that i am descriminative some times but i do give people chances.

We (Classmates and I) had a quite interesting conversation on race, and we came to the conclusion that Jews have it worse than Blacks, so blacks have nothing to complain about, since Jews never complain.

Discrimination, as DemaMoose stated before, happens too often. It is also used against already poor people. I think if we have to change anything in US, besides sexism, smokes, and stupid people, it should be discrimination. It can be stopped...

i dont think so... discrimination is one of those things that dont go away. we have tried to eliminate descrimination for decades but it has not gone away. some places are worse then others.

if everyone on this planet was the same. we would find some way to descriminate by thier wealth, beliefs, opinions etc. there are people that arnt descriminate but there are others that are. it will be nearly impossible to eliminate descrimination.

Native Americans had it the worst. Just ask one... if you can find any.

Hell, I had it worse, well my ancestors, than the blacks. Scottish and Irish.

Well one thing that I can't help but feeling is that people always need someone to make fun of. Its in our nature to do so, as we have been for thousands of years. I think that we should take out our anger on professionals who are hired to take beatings/humiliation. Although I don't know who would want the job. Johnny Knoxville maybe....

Its life man, people think because.... um.. because they do? If you want to stop people from thinking, you are just as bad (actually worse) then those discriminators.

Life is about the freedom of speech, if you can't accept that, then have no say.


Discrimination is just a part of life. Its like the water, sky, or ocean. People will always discriminate, and people will always hate. Of course, take away freedom of speech and you solve this problem... gl with that.

Against Dumb people. And what did they ever do to you? Maybe your stereo typing under average humans, by thinking most of them like being bullies or picking on others or something, i dotn know what you have against them but that makes you a discriminator.



And you laugh? a joke? Of course! stupid people dont have feelings! How would you feel if someone stereotyped and then joked about ending your life. And then laughed about it. I think smart people deserve to be stereo typed as much as stupid people, because often they can be just as rude.



Not really. You also have to watch what you say, because sometimes having a complete freedom of speech with no boundaries can lead to extremely bad situations, on either end of the scale.

Not really. SLaughtering is usually instant, and while being enslaved you sually get food water and a place to sleep. It may be uncomfortable, but hey iots not death.

World wide law states that any prisoner needs to be cared for within healthy standards. Most peoples chances are pretty slim of being imprisoned outside those laws, especially considering, usually it would be for ransom or something similair, or some right wing country would probably rescue you. on second thoughts theyd probably just say 'we dont negotiate with terrorists' ... -.-

dude... do you know what happend to the aboriginal, native american, and several other cultures?

the aboriginal people were shot for sport. think about having your land invaded and then having them kill you for throphies. they still are oppressed in modern day australia. most of them seem very sad. they refuse to accept modern technology and prefer thier old ways better.

the native american people were killed without almost any attempt to have a treaty. billions were killed and enslaved. even though they did fight back thier armies would have way greater casualties then the USA. after they were defeated they were put on "reservations" many of them had to move from thier homeland to another state.
alchohal became thier addiction because it was easy to get intoxicated and because of depression.

as for the african american peoples they were raped, beaten, tortured, and killed. they were taken from thier land by other tribes. put on a boat where death and sickness overcame most of them. then they were put to work on farms and whipped. they were treated worse then animals.

i think that these people have been through the most suffering. this by far beats racial oppresion.
