ok i was messing around with photoshop and i found a way to make my own brushes...
Step 1:
make a new picture or w/e and have the background white.
Step 2:
Get out the normal brush, select a suitable size star, and go crazy.
be careful not to make too many tho..
Step 3:
now is the hard bit, get out the eraser to a suitable size, and start to cut out a random shape like a mountain, or a ring w/e it is.
Step 4:
go to edit>define brush
type in ur name and click ok
Step 5:
use the brush pull-down bar and select ur new brush!
plz comment about this...
there are over 100 tuts on this... yes it works. at least what i read looks like it.

yay...
although this is pretty much for making basic brushes >.<
well thx

a better one is to use the basic inbuilt 'charcoal' brush and make a blob on a 500x500 white page in black, then use the liquify then wind, invert and save the brush and it looks abstract.
well you dont really have to make your own brushes. all the brushes you really need are in photoshop already. except maybe grunge brushes.
Easier way, use a default texture plus a few effects. BAM! You got yourself brushes.
thats kinda what i was saying, but siyaka is right, you dont need many new brushes. i happen to have an unhealthy amount of abstractbrushes that i dnt even use often, and it just makes loading ps even longer.

Make your own brushes?, does this actually work?
No, because all the ones that currently exist werent made by people, they fell out of Jesus's ass.
