Staredit Network -> UMS Showcase -> Explosion Defence Beta
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2004-05-27 at 10:21:38
hey everyone,
I'm testing my map which is currently 100% finished in gameplay, 50% finished in levels, and 90% finished in bug checking. I just added a cool speed enhancement that I learnt off one of the posts the admin made. Email all bugs to nimadude@hotmail.com or add me on SC (nimadude). This map is VERY original and is a whole new way of playing a "Defence" type game. The concept of not letting the enemy get to the end is the same, but killing the enemy is completely different. You have to aim at them with your target and fire your attacker that goes to ur target killing everything in it's path, and if you bought an explosion it will explode once it reaches the target. If you like defence games, you should try this.

PS: I know this game will get repetative after playing it a couple times, so I'm planning to add a randomized feature to how the enemy gets to the end.

This download has been updated to BETA 3.1

4 players, pretty hard just need good aiming skills, read brief, you might not understand at first but you will as you play, its pretty user friendly game cause you get lots of lives

Just gave it a try, seems a little off placed with the observer movement, but generally, nice idea. However it is extremely difficult to aim correct over that distance, maybe have a unit, "vulture" on a straight line just beyond the "playing field" which is the location of the start point for the observer movement and therefore you can move it. Just a suggestion.
