yeah... anime is alright but you shouldnt of used the DBZ type of anime. the same thing happend to me. i thought DBZ was the greatest in the world and i got really tallented in it. but then it got really dull and i started drawing differnt types of anime. but you should just keep on doing it i mean... you already started it why not finish?
if you do not like that idea you could change the type of animation slowly(they wont notice will they?) or use some kind of thing that intertwines with the story to change it...
PS. WITH THIS POST I HAVE ENTERED REGULARHOOD!!!

I can't change the style during the movie hahaha
I have plans for this thing beyond school. I'm working on obtaining grant money so I can go across the country and show it at different festivals. With the eventual goal to take it to one of the major TV networks in the hopes of getting it turned into a series (I think it has a chance of catching on). One thing I've thought of is finishing it in anime style and perhaps changing the look of it if it gets picked up by a network (unless they think otherwise, I just DON'T wanna be an animator on it).
And you're right. Redrawing it would be a lot more work than necessary, but anime just doesn't
move me the way it used to.

That IS NOT DBZ type of anime.
Compare

9Random image of DBZ characters that is clearly a different style.

THANK YOU!!! People subject my movie to all of their anime stereotypes. That is something I'm afraid of though. I'm afraid people will make too many assumptions about it just because of the way it looks. It's not a cliche anime. There's no asian culture, no giant sweatdrops, no noisy eating, no falling off the screen in embarassment, no card duels, no changing hair color (unless its dyed, or something), no giant robots, no ninjas, no saving the world, no aliens, no thought bubbles with "..." in them, no sleeping nose bubbles, no crazy hairstyles, no girly men, no chibi versions of the characters in cutaways, no blue lines going down their foreheads, etc. I avoid the camerawork that is typically used to introduce main heroes/heroins/villains, etc., in anime. Therefor, it DOES NOT have to look like an anime, but could easily look like anything.

Not anime. Please. Anything but anime.

Your opinion is valid, but I'd like to know why NOT anime, and what would you suggest as an alternative?
