ok if you are going to make a ww2 map think about this:

Land mines cannot move!

so here is a nice little thing.

make a Neutral player... then place land mine. now. the land mine wont chase units right? well now make a location over a land mine. name this location LandMine 1: here is the triggers
Players: Good Guys

Condition:
Player |the units you want to get killed by land mine| brings at least 1 unit to location LandMine 1

Action:
Give landmine owned by player |Neutral| to player |Bad Guy|

there now you have ww2 mine
Notes:make sure you make the location the smallest. | i don't know the size tongue.gif|
just like in x-tra u click it and it there. make sure your in the location layer
thought.

Damn it another Idea from me gone.. I had this idea and was making the map when someone comes up with this idea other then me... Dang! ranting.gif

How is this advanced, confuses me slightly.
Why not just disable the "Land Mine", which can be a Vulture Spider Mine and therefore greatly reduce its sight, so this almost the same.

"Improving Theory:"
(Your Idea In Trigger Format)
Conditions:
Player Brings at least 1 "Land Mine Unit Placement" to Anywhere
Action:
Centre Location "Land Mine Placement Location" on "Land Mine Unit Placement" At Anywhere
Remove 1 "Land Mine Unit Placement" at "Land Mine Placement Location" For Current Player
Create 1 "Land Mine" at "Land Mine Placement Location" for Player _
Preserve Trigger

Condition:
Player _ Brings at least 1 "Land Mine" to Anywhere
Action:
Centre Location "Land Mine Explosion" on "Land Mine" at Anywhere
Preserve Trigger

Condition:
All Players Brings at least 1 "Man" to location "Land Mine Explosion"
Player _ Brings at least 1 "Land Mine" to location "Land Mine Explosion"
Action:
Give Exactly 1 "Land Mine" owned by Player _ at Location "Land Mine Explosion" to Foes
Preserve Trigger

I think that works, though problems may occur from moving from one land mine to the next, maybe have a death count placed in the middle trigger, and another trigger removing it, so that set land mine can be checked again, or have lots and lots of locations and be a fool.

It almost works, but i prefer my Disable technique which works almost as well, if not better since you can see Player _ Spider Mines, as such.
