i need an unused player[computer p9-] for every human player.
there are 8 players
what editor am i to use for this.
i have used starforge 2.2 but it does not have enough unused players, it only has p9,p10,p11,p12 i need another 4

any help would be apreciated smile.gif

What do you need them for? Because they are not just unused players... Player 12 ins't unused at all wink.gif

i no theres player 60. but you cant have p12/p11/p10/p9

Thats just wrong agent nick, you can have players 9-12, you can go higher somehow, I don't recall how, but most of those players cause weird effects, and don't respond to some triggers.

acuualy if you have p60 all those p9-p12 make you crash u can have them but not with p60

each player in my game need an unused player that they can use as trigger guids for building locations.


its a madness.
but u place multible spawns.
to do this i used the extra players.

once a unit has spawned at a building it will have to be moved to another building, to do this i give the current building to say P9 and the trigger continues to spawn units at the other buildings.

at the end of every round the buildings are given back to the currentplayer and the spawning begins again.

so forth*ect

all i need to know is if other players above p12 can be used like p12, not to alter the game.

u can umm make it for you then give to p12. it will keep your color

Just type in what you need and use a start location to make them alive it works but im not sure about how to get the triggers on it to work or if it just might not be possable to do it with the editors

nvm i can do it with just 4 extra players just gotto delete like 50 triggers XD and restart with even more....

but now i know smile.gif

With 8 it is almost impossible but with 4 it is. But does he want to have 4 players instead of 8 only time will tell when he replies tongue.gif

errr i can use 2 burrowed units to double the ammount 1 unused player can suport

You cant just use 9/10/11 and 12 they arnt there to do that they do serve a purpose to having them

YOu can have like 6+ of different burrows so that shouldn't be even a problem wink.gif
Just remember that you can't create them through triggers...

Don't worry about p9-11. You can use them as you want, Just be more careful with p12 as it is player who owns all spells and units of dead players*

i am gonna try making it so a location will be only putting burrowed units under[which i guess i cant do] so next too the buildings but this will make the spawning locations inaccuret

ok i am gonna place a burrowed zergling under each building. for p1
for the next player a burrowed hydralisk under each building. for p2
next play will be a defiler. for p3
and then a um drone. for p4

the trigger built for locating the spawns will not look for the buildings it will look for the burrowed units, then the trigger will give the burrowed unit to Say P9.

and the other 4 players will be p10

at the end of each round the burrowed units return to the original owner

and that 8 player defense is on my old comp out the back in de shed happy.gif;
