I got corel paint shop pro x

and...

i have been getting into it, its pretty easy but i have some questions.

1) What is a render? where can i get good renders?
2) What are brushes? where can i get good brushes?
3) What are the basics of making a good siggy?

1. A render is a image cut up from a specific part to show a character or object of some sort. Such as your alien sig. The alien on it is a render. Clantemplates.com has a good source of templates.

2. Brushes are what makes your sig unique. It is the background of the signature your wanting to create. Go to deviantart.com.

how do u combine a template and a render? cut and paste?

when u load a render into a brush, doesnt it include the background of the render?

You're supposed to cut the render out.
