Are you running the map in starcraft right now?

Uh.. Something similar has happened to me on my Mac. It ended up saving anyway. Go check.

No, its not running on Starcraft, and I tried saving many times but to no luck. Any other map saves just fine.

File -> Save CHK-file (raw scenario)...
Open CHK file, save map.

If the map is running in ANY way it won't save. If it is in the briefing screen, or the victory/defeat screen, or if you have it on the map selection screen, the computer sees it as "active." Make sure Starcraft is either on the screen where you can choose the main campaigns, or it's at the "Create Game" screen on multiplayer.

Yeah that sucks. I made a campaign that was 50 missions long and then the computer crashed and everything was lost. I have since remade the whole thing (over the course of 6 or 7 months), but it still really sucks when your map meets it's doom.

Open the map with WinMPQ and delete the listfile.

Not ANY way, when I was playing the map on battle.net I still could save it.

Umm... If it says error about something, cannot read something from the map
*Check out the map if you coulda did something wrong to it.
