ok, im making a defence map and im trying to get the computer to attack the building i want it to while the invisible bunkers(ones that arent acually there) kill the invading eneimes. but for some reason the enemy wont attack the building so could someone help please??

Is the computer unallied to the owner of the building? Is the building invincible?

yes the computers job is to kill the building

no its not invicible

i tried everything i could think of tho i even set suicide mission AI and that made the units attack the building but they will atttack and run away i dont get it...i think its because of the invisible bunkers are attacking the units are interferring with the AI but i dont know how to fix that

Try to make them Patrol to the area.

Are they unallied? (You just said it was there job)
Did you try Preserve Trigger attack at location?
Did you try playing with alliance status for the owners of the invisible bunkers?

The AI will try to find whatever is attacking it. That's why blocking a path and setting tanks outside of it confuses them. They can't reach the thing that is attacking them. It will be difficult (if not impossible) to make them attack a non-threatening building while they are being attacked by something else.

yes i think that is the problem im just going to change the building they are trying to attack into somthing that will hit them



well that did work, i changed the building to a cannon but they still run away

I'mmaking a map, & there is 1 place that i got to...
It needs 80 trigger blocks for 80 different conditions.
Only 1 block will allways be working (they will switch between eashother).
Amount of conditions in block: 2-4
Amount of actions in block: 7-10

BIG QUESTION: WILL THAT "SLOW" THE GAME ? ?? ? (not counting laggs)
If someone can help me, pliz do smile.gif

have you tried "value this area higher" in the area of the CC
-check if they are enemies
-check the preserve trigger
-check the wait(if there are hyper triggers maybe its just delayed action becuz of them)
