Hey I think it could be usefull for me as a mapmaker and to other people who will look that topic to understand what are sprites and how to use them? What are their use? If there is a thing on sprites in the tutorial... you can kill me !

sprites can be used as fake units or you can walk threw them.
like if you want the unit of a sunk but you dont want the creep then you can use a sunk sprite as a picture (but it doenst attack, mostly used that you can buy or a switch)

There are two different kinds of sprites: Unit-Sprites and Pure-Sprites. A unit sprite is a unit that can be controlled, and many cool things have been discovered about them. A pure sprite is just an image in-game that can be placed ANYWHERE in the map, but can NOT be controlled. Additionally, pure sprites can be walked through. And...here is a tutorial on advanced sprites. (Using unit-sprites to achieve interesting effects.)

im making a mapping resource about this (not just about this but about everything)

Note: i started this resource about sprites like 40 minutes ago so it is NOT finished
