First of all i protected my map with uberation but after a while my friend was able to open it which pissed me off. He told me where to dl this program and to my surprise i could open all my maps that i had protected.

Also after protecting my map (and only when i protect) i get message when trying to open the map to play it. It says saying about to many obstructions and nooks and crannies. wtf is this and how can i fix it lol

BTW protection should be enhaced.

PM this "program" to LegacyWeapon. I don't know how good he is at coding, but he's the one who made uberation and I'm sure he get out-protect that program.

obstructions and nooks and crannies

Get rid of the nooks and crannies in your terrain.

You could widen up the gaps in your terrain.

One of the few SC errors that tell the truth.

Do you not have a back up copy of your map(s)? You really should tongue.gif. From your description I assume this program can virtually unprotect any map regardless of the protector used to protect it. If this is true what I believe happened is that through unprotecting your map the 'program' removed chunks of information because it was not specifically designed to unprotect maps protected with uberation(nothing is without a price). Thus you are getting this error message because the editor cannot correctly read your map. sad.gif So unless you have some magical reversal program or a back up copy I would say you have lost your map.

P.S. I believe the error "nooks and cranies" means that there is too much loose information for the editor to parse correctly.

the nooks and crannies error occurs when playing the game in starcraft.

If you have too many turns and twists in the terrain (like massive amount of paths through high dirt etc, you will get this error)

The nooks and crannies happens otherwise as well..
I don't remember exactly what happened, but I think it was this..
I made the map in X-tra, opened in Starforge to make it flashy, and protected with uberation and played it.. It had the same error.
It had something to do with the trees in my map. When I opened the backup, the top part of each tree was gone, possibly the sprite part, I'm not sure. Anyway, I replaced the trees, and did something (I forgot what sad.gif ) and it worked.
I didn't give definite information, but try making backup and playing around with the trees; not using Starforge, changing tool order (SF -> X-tra -> Uber).

I'd still like the program or a link to it. PM please...

Nooks and Crannies is a case of "overprotection". Use Final Combo Compression or PROEdit.
