Regardless of how you feel about Iraq Im just wondering what your plan is for getting out of Iraq (If American, British, Korean, etc).
This is not a place to debate if the iraq war is rightous or not, just your plan for getting our/your troops home.
QUOTE(Format)
1. (Your plan)
2. (How long it will take)
3. (Alt. suggestions)
Try giving your plan/idea in that format would be nice.
no spams/flames/etc...
After settling anarchy, and putting up a STABLE form of government they leave... by plane?
total removal of troops from iraq - i predict - will not occur for at least 5 years. in all likelyhood, 10 or 15 years.
we must guarantee that there is a gov't which can function without our intervention, and that that gov't is relatively democratic. iraq (and israel) should be the figureheads of what we want the middle east to be like: democratic and secular.
alt plans? withdraw now, never mention the word 'iraq' again, and chuckle over the resulting chaos that is going to occur in the power vacuum left by us.

Uh... I'm not exactly qualified to plan military strategy... but whatever.
1. Begin a gradual pullout starting in June 2006, leaving more and more responsibility to the Iraqi security forces.
2. Depends on strength of insurgency/Iraqi forces.
3. Immediate withdrawal of all US and allied forces.
Given the current situation... the soldiers in Iraq aren't doing so well... I don't think Bush will pull them out until "total" justice and "peace" is in Iraq. He'll probably take out US troops in 2007 unless they all die... I don't even think Bush has a plan for extracting them...
No pyro he does. I think you missed his speechs. In the month of December Bush gave like a million speechs outlining his plan and what we got to do. I was actually surprised cause Bush like never has speechs (or very few).
Well Bush is an idiot and he doesnt even know what hes talking about. I dont care if Bush did make a we-are-going-to-pull-out-our-troops-speech because hes probably just scamming the media with lies so people will shut up and defend him. Thats my opinion. Savvy?
Hahaha Pyro this isn't a place to debate about Iraq/Bush like I said before.
Present a plan if you have one, don't just randomely post here saying "I don't really know whats going on, but Bush sucks

"
I have to agree with him, Chris
1: Pull the troops out of Iraq in June of 2006, while slowly handing over the responsibilty to the Iraq government and police. (Me and Voyager rule

)
2: 6 months - 2 years
3: Go back to a state of isolationalism, to fix up our economy, and our own problems
If I was president, I would only listen to the men who don't have kids on this issue.
Oh, just noticed it was from Iraq:
No clue. I'm not a certificed american military tactician. And I doubt any of here are.
As a Korean, Ill state my military strategy for pull out if it ever happens.
1) Gradual release of troops in Iraq until December 2006 hoping everything will be ok after. But just in case, I'll leave couple of military posts throughout Baghdad.
2) 1 yr - 2 yr if something wrong happens
3) Just withdraw with some forces left and deal with the corrupt government system Koreans have... really...

That sentence really got to me. What
we want the Mid-East to be like.... why should we dictate how everyone should act. It IS their land afterall. If they want to be a dictatorship, let them. Let there people ask us for help (and I'm talking the majority, not some lowly freedom group with 30 men)
Now onto th topic at hand:
a. Pull them out at any time. Now, or 2 years from now. Soon though.
b. 6 months to ?
c. Imediate pullout.
1. Carpet bomb the entire coutry with laughing gas. Remove all weapons from country when everyone is knocked out. Carry troops home.
2. About 4 hours + Travel time.
3. Use superglue in a vaporized form instead, this way we would take our troops out first.
carpet bomb haha, nuke them with laughing gas is more like it lol.
those troops should stay there until the Iraqi military is built up enough to take over
if the troops leave too early, the terrorists will just come out of their rabbit holes again and start the whole bombing thing again
we need to do something about the younger iraqis so that they're not influenced by the terrorists to become one of them
