So, are we going to wait for FirGraft, or continue on 1.13e?

I guess we will have to work on 1.13e then add more things to our mod once firegraft is finished

now if only we could start on a mod other then talking about graphics and memgraft... tongue.gif

Are we safe...*glances around seemingly, looking for...

BLIZZARD SPIES(Voy knows what I mean...hehehe)*

Okay, I don't see any. Anyway, time to reveal a bit of what I've been up to, which will explain why I have no time to do anything except for the Memgraft part of this. Here's everything:

1. School(don't ask, don't tell, I've got too much anyway)
2. FireGraft. Yes, it is my second priority next to school. I want it done, so I can make cool mods with it. BK(BroodKiller) is helping me, seeing as how I've done a little for DatEdit(format research via dissassembly, and helping getting the Icon preview). *Glances again* What you probably didn't know is that I really only need the class layout, which he is doing, and then about 2 days worth of work to get a working version out(but it will probably not be bugless, so I'll decide what to do with that later...)
3. Orders.dat/Iscript.bin/Internal Req/Multiplayer Packet research. A doozy field. First of all, let me say that I know what every single undocumented opcode does. My greatest two discoveries are: *more glancing around* Only 2 other people have been told this(BSTRhino(well, you think I'd do any Iscritp research and not tell him?) and I mentioned it a bit to Deathknight(not too much). The one I like the best is 0x37. Neither Ice/IceCC has it identified right, so to use it you have to hex edit. *glances more* okay, I'm safe. It takes a word variable and places that number in as the speed for that unit. Yes, it replaces the flingy.dat speed variable. The other one is still almost indescribable how it works, but I'll try. *shifs eyes around* It is 0x12, it also takes a word sized variable. It will spawn a flingy.dat entry, but only under very strict rules, which even I haven't figured out. As for the packet editing, that means creating multiplayer actions. *hears noise, oh wait, it's nothing* So, for those of you who tested the afterburners for me, I'll be able to make it a multiplayer thing. The ordres.dat is just to see about the ID restrictions, so Firegraft can edit them. *I hear noise*....

The blizzard spies can't get us here. Remember, only people who have gotten accepted on to the SENmod team can see this forum.
Unless they're really penetrated that far scared.gif

ADDITION:
With all those incredible new discoveries, it looks like a new dawn of modding (1.07 style) is coming once again.
I can feel it!

ADDITION:
My siggy has been updated with the recent discoveries.

Yeah, and then he- oh wait, I was just emailing Blizzard.

So anyways, I'll work on the projectiles if I must. I ahvent done a lot of GRP editing in my life, but I think I have retroGRP SE and I can edit pretty well.

Oh, and I'm learning how to 3D model. I'll be ready to do some hardcore modling in say, a month.

Okay, well, Sunday was "When does starcraft load the .dat files?" day. Here's what is sure:

Images.dat and Iscript.bin are only loaded upon startup. So is sfxdata.dat.

All the other .dat files are loaded/reloaded upon the map being started. What I found out: The subunit range/target aquire range is compared with the highest range for either weapon a unit has, and that highest value is put back into the variable in memory.

Oh, another iscript thing. If you use sprol0f with the unit Id of the goliath or the hero goliath(can't spell the name....) and the charon boosters is upgraded, no matter what, it will become the blue halo rocket trail.

The dat editors should be making up a weapons->flingy->sprites->images train for the ion cannon projectile, right?
