if you played call of duty... well here is a snow sc version.


Date Started: Sence dawn of the dead (started it before)

Info:Your a captain and you get Droped from a c-47 ( not fansy. u see c-47 then u apper) its a snow season and the general has been trying to drop soldiers but the C-47's keep getting shot down by anti-aircraft guns. so your mission is to destroy all anti-aircraft guns and place the drop flares.. but then some thing happens to a c-47 and you half to rescue the soldiers before its to late!

Heros Used:Flame Hero Marine Hero and 2 ghost heros.

FAQ
1. can we choose what weapon we want? Yes you will be able to choose from 4 choices

2.Whats the difficult? Hard, the flame hero has 1000 health and thats as high as it gose. your enemys have 10 attack. but there is alot of them and your health is 900-800 (depends what unit) and that drops fast!

3.Can you heal? Im thinking about having medic tents were you go on a becon and they heal you...

4.When will this be done? I do not really know lol

5.Is this going to be a single player map? No, the only sigle player is when im testing it. i half to use power overwhelming just to test it. thats how hard its going to be.

6.is it going to have anti hack? there will be a map hack droper were you can normaly view it but with a map hack you can. and if you do you get crashed.

7. is there going to be and secret missions or objs or weapons? well there is a secret obj. bet im not going to tell you lol tongue.gif and no new weapons just some from the game CoD

8.Can i be a beta Tester?i will be pm some people i want to test it for me

It dosnt make much sense to have the ability to switch weapons. If you switch weapons, then you also change the hit points that go with that unit. Hit points wouldnt matter as much, so l consider a following zergling. Half does not equal 'have'. You dont have to be American to understand simple grammar.

That means, you start with a unit choice, and whatever you select is all that you can have. Reminds me of Dawn of the Dead really, just the same style, but good luck with it.

1. you are in ww2
2. there no zombies
3. Dotd you can find and choose differnt weapons
4.cod is going to be better than dotd

ROFL and you were complaining about grammar.

Anyway, sounds cool, healing should be a Medic though. It's not realistic to just suddenly become completely rejuvinated.
Also, I suggest that you use Revelade's HP system: using ScoreBoard.
That way, you can have it be more realistic and stuff.
Speaking of Revelade, has any1 seen him on B.Net or anything?

He is back then? Well; i have slowly been working on a shoot'em-up version of a game, was looking at Call of Duty/Counter-Strike/Quake/Unreal.

It would use Defilers, and at the start you would choose your weapon, depending on the amount of money you had and its cost. (That would work best with a Counter-Strike/CoD idea, since Quake and Unreal, you take weapons from the ground, and that is hard to trigger in)

With your choosen weapon, and everyone else done as well, the game would start and you would go around, shooting darkswarm. Its hard to have anything other than instant kill, but i've worked on a "lock-and-load" system, so it costs 150 to cast it, and after you've done it once, it sets it to zero for a set period, depending on your choice of weapon for that round, and then allows you to cast it again.

The firing itself shoots an interceptor at the target swarm and anything it is way will get hit, and stop the interceptor (thats was difficult till i just made it blow up!). I've tried to find a way to just make it do a set amount of damage depending on your choice of gun, but it runs so slowly its silly.

Then i hit a great idea, since this is intended for just four players, i placed a side bit, and made units for each of the choosen "gun types" and put them alone for each computer player, so each had four spots, for each gun. Then when you got hit by the interceptor, depending on the gun in use, a figure of you got moved to that spot, to be shot at, for a certain amout of seconds, before it went back.

Therefore it wasn't get the pistol and quick fire. The terrain is mainly up and down, because thats more interesting. Now because it worked off hyper triggers, i had a death counter for the time limit, and it just preserved over, till it hit a certain amount and then you disappeared.

For some interesting points, i had it so that you could try and heal, but your unit would freeze, leaving you open. It would move you unit to a medic who would try and help, or if you gained an upgrade to a weak shield regenerator.

Do not ask for a preview, because this is a just a thought at the moment, most of the trigger were tried alone, because too many bugs appear. Like when two people shoot at you at the same time, and the amount of guns. I think once i've set it up for about two guns, and two players it can work perfectly, but for four players, it will be harder.

For two players, i thought that i could then have four observers, or maybe even allow people swap over after a few rounds, but thats a pain in the arse to trigger, so i thought, just let them watch.

What do you think of that idea?

It wont work, since dark swarm belongs to p12, the shots will conflict, so you can really shoot at each other, unless you want the interceptors to go crazy.

I've been looking at that situation, and as long as a i keep it just two players i can solve it. Using both the Corsair and Defiler and forcing the Corsair to stay with the Defiler it works, and each time you get just one with energy to cast.

There is a longer pause between the casting of web. This can create an unbalance, and slow the defiler down [Air unit above], if the defiler is not slow enough.

I was going to make a similar map set during the Warsaw ghetto uprising, but, well, didn't. Anyway, i had an idea of using grenades. This only really works if you have hyper triggers. Or it could work if just one player has hyper triggers. Anyway, it works like this.

Condition
- Curent Player brings at least 1 Frag Grenade(drone) to ! Grenade Check (ground only location)
- Current Plyar brings exactly 1 men to ! Grenade Check

Actions
- Center Location ! Create Grenade on Character for Current Player
- Create 1 Grenade(Infested Terran) for Current Player at ! Create Grenade
- Kill All Frag Grenade for Current Player
Preserve Trigger


Conditions
- Command Current Player commands at least 1 Grenade(INfested Terran)

Actions
- Center Location ! Grenade Radius on Grenade owned by Current Player
- preserve trigger


Conditions
- Command Exactly 0 Grenade(Infested Terran)
- At least 1 deaths of Frag Grenade

Actions
- Create 9 Wraiths for Current Player at ! Grenade Radius

That's basically how your frag grenade would work. What I was gonna do was have a frag grenade that kills some units. This would've been random, like kill 1,3, or 6 or something. Then I'd have a Shrapnel Grenade that would lower the hit points of some of the units to like 10% and maybe kill one or two guys. I was also gonna have Smoke Grenade that moved a pre-placed Dark Swarm to the grenade.

You could have powerups placed around the map that give you grenades.

Conditions
- P8 brings at least 1 Frag Grenade(Psi Emitter) to 1 Character
- Current player brings at most 8 men to ! Grenades Air

Actions
- Move all dropship for current player at ! Grenades Air to ! Grenades Loading
- Create 1 Frag Grenade(Drone) at ! Grenades Loading for Current Player
- Run Ai SCript Enter Transport at ! Grenades Loading
- Wait 500 Milliseconds
- Move all dropships for current player at ! Grenades Loading to ! Grenades Air

These are the basic triggers of my system, needless to say there are some more triggers you need to make, but i don't wanna post them. Like if the player unloads all of his grenades. Or if for some reason the grenade doesn't load into the dropship. I'm at school right now so i can't post any files, but i'll try to make a test grenade system when i get home.

Yes, i think that would work, though not what i had in mind.

Off Topic again; i meant that you would control both a Defiler and Corsair, with the Corsair hyper set onto the Defiler Location and each time you play, it sets either you to using the Corsair or Defiler, and i've worked at the differences in speed, and i think it can work, just about, though the fact of it working as P12 is most annoying!
