Just use create unit, without setting it's energy. It will permenantly stay at 0 energy without dieing.

Ive heard of people setting to invincible or disabling and enabling it.

Thats only possible with human players.

There is a way to do it so its seemingly flawless. By creating a broodling, then removing the broodling and creating it again every interval with a wait. The ideal is to have a broodling that stays in one place like a purchasing trigger. You can however have them scattered around. You would just need to center a location on every broodling and create for a different player, before giving all the broodlings to the player that is intended to control them (after the controller player controls 0 broodlings of course).

There is a tutorial on this as well... Check the tutorials next time...
Broodling Lives Forever Tutorial

FYI: setting anything via trigger (HP, energy, invincibility) for a trigger-created Broodling will start off the Broodling's little energy countdown to death; Order and Move will not.

I'd assume that a created Broodling with Property: Invinc will be truly everlasting, but I have yet to test or see that.

I tried that on one of my maps before and the broodling will not die by other unit attacks but only by the energy running out. At that point I created the trigger of:
Trigger
Conditions:
¤ Always
Actions:
¤ Set unit energy for all broodlings at anywhere to 100%
I think it would be better though if you stuck with the tutorial though...

Doesn't work. Read the post above yours.

I'd assume just create it and then set invincibility as another action.
