Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> 2x Speed and lurkers

I'm making a 2x speed map with lurkers, but it's wierd. The lurkers fire volleys twice as fast, but every other one doesn't deal any damage confused.gif , so it's exactly the same as if it were 1x speed... Is there a way to fix this?

2x speed and 4x speed haven't been completely experimented with and recorded for units and such. Mainly, we know that in 4x speed, units will not attack each other unless targetted via attack order + click on something. We also know that some units don't work at all.

2x speed and 4x speed aren't perfect and won't ever be because we aren't doing something that Blizzard intended.

I suggest you stack 2 lurkers at the same spot?

x4 Speed actually speed's up a unit's movement and attack, while x2 Speed only speeds up the unit animation, )Ex. Moving up and down, Turret spining, Attacking), But in reality, deals the same effects as regular speed.

There's a map Tarpit D 2 (2x speed) where archons actually deal damage twice as fast , not just the unit animation (I'm 100% sure of this).

I've done some testing and I found that the only unit that doesn't attack at 2x speed is lurker. (which happens to be the unit i MUST have sad.gif). All other units attack at 2x speed. Also I found out that if you place a Player 13 zergling, the map goes to 2x speed as well.

But the zergling from Player 13 also needs to be placed as the first unit on the map right?

-2x Map Speed
Place any player 13 unit (other than a map revealer) anywhere as the first unit on your map.
