I'm doing this because I'm incredibly bored. Anyways, this is how to draw a hand.
Open up your MSPaint or whatever.
Step 1: Draw circles for your fingers, thumb, and palm.
[attachmentid=16613]
Step 2: Connect the fingers with lines. Keep the line closest to your thumb unconnected
[attachmentid=16614]
Step 3: Erase the circle lines. On the index finger, erase the right of the circle to the highest point of the circle. Don't keep the tip circles for the nails, it will look fatty and ugly.
[attachmentid=16615]
Step 4: Connect the lines and circles with the general outline of the hand.
[attachmentid=16616]
Step 5: Add in nail lines and main palm indent. The indent simply bends around the palm circles.
[attachmentid=16617]
Step 6: Now, add the outline of where the lightest areas of the palm will be.
[attachmentid=16618]
Step 7: Erase the palm and thumb circles.
[attachmentid=16619]
Step 8: Add the outlines to your shadows.
[attachmentid=16620]
Step 9: Now comes in the shades. Go to Colors, then Edit Colors. Look for the box that says "Lum" and change the number in the box to 215. Exit out and finish the outline of your nails with this color. Fill the nail with this color when you're done outlining. This is the only time you'll use this color.
[attachmentid=16621]
Step 10: Select the light gray that is located directly to the right of white in your color pallette. Fill in the fingers and a "shine" circle on your thumb. The index finger isn't completely separated, so create a light gray line to separate and then fill in.
[attachmentid=16622]
Step 11: Select the gray that is located directly to the right of black in your color pallette. Fill in the "shade" areas on your fingers and create a gray ridge from your index finger and thumb.
[attachmentid=16623]
Step 12: Go to Colors, then Edit Colors. Look for the box that says "Lum" and change the number in the box to 50. Exit out and fill in the palm. DO NOT FILL IN THE SHADES. This is the only time you'll use this color.
[attachmentid=16624]
Step 13: Select black on the color pallette. Fill in the shades.
[attachmentid=16625]
Step 14: Fill in the background with the color black.
[attachmentid=16626]
Step 15: Remove those hideous outlines. You do NOT need the edited colors. Simply use the grays in the color pallette. Yes, this part is the most time consuming part.

Congratulations! You have drawn a hand! That is if you actually tried doing this. Anyways, make any adjustment, add a better background, heck, even try different colors.
Jesus christ, you are a uber ms paint user
1337 skills
I'll probably write/draw a tutorial on eyes and lips when I'm bored enough and have the time. This just gives you better skills at trying to draw realistically on paint.
No denying it, you are very good with paint. Hands and feet are tough to master in any medium. They have so many joints and it can be tough to get them to bend in a believable way. Good tutorial, Holysin.
i must admit it, thats pretty cool m8
So this is what holysin has been up to these past few days. Gj.
Nice..Get to work on more Paint masterpieces =D
My god dude. This is seriously good work. Most companies nowadays don't look for a person who works with paint, but if you keep this up who knows. Very good an detailed tutorial.
WOW!!! And I thought that sprite designing was some hard work...
Amazing tutorial dude, even though I'm not a fan of MSPaint ;p
