ok so yesterday i made my art gallery containing the sigs and many other things that i have created while being on the sen forums. then it got locked ._.
my locked gallery
cheeze said the reason was is that there already is a topic about it in the pinned section.
i believe he is refering to the rate my siggy topic but this topic is only for rating not for displaying.

the reasons i wanted to create my own gallery was to show other people the stuff i have created as well as to show people who want sigs a demonstration of what i can do.

in rate my siggy your signature gets lost in the many pages of it. however in my siggy gallery all of the artwork would be in the front page.

so i ask am i wrong?

Rate means display. How are they going to be rated if they aren't displayed?

If you took out the "rate me" part and the little information in the beginning about siggies, and just said: This is my personal art portfolio or something, it may have not been erased.

i think beer's quote is meaning, that if 1 person that makes sigs on sen gets their own personal art gallery, then everyone that makes sigs is gonna want one...?

Perhaps there could be a thread called "Members Galleries," and its a list of off site webpages that contain the artist's work. The pinned area in the graphics area is a little full right now, granted, but Feguland and I write, Kelli and Tazzy (if he ever shows up again) mixes music, and we have a whole bunch of mad genius' at graphics and such. The thread could go under the Creative Forum, instead of going to one of the sub-forums. Its been bugging me that it says, "No topics were found. This is either because there are no topics in this forum, or the topics are older than the current age cut-off. "

Setting up the list would be easy, and providing websites to use as galleries is simple. I have quite a few, if you're interested, even though most are geared towards authors. I'm sure a lot of people would like to display their work, and if someone so happens to me registered on that site (or in some other contact the author), I think that we'd all appriciate some critique

I personally think thats a good idea. Im an aspiring gfx fanatic and im pretty much sure that it will be a big hit if we start up a new forum section! Heck we could even add that other cool thing (rate the picture thingy) in the other topic in this section. The images that we post wont burn any bandwith either because we would be hosting from different places. We all could have our little threads where we could have people post upon it as we build our skills slowly and surely. Its always nice to have critizism on our work as it helps build our skills. Eh? Eh?

True, but if sen is going to have a creative section, they might as well go the whole nine. I can help out if it is needed.

Somehow taking this back on subject: we could talk to the moderators at the arts section and ask if we could have a pinned topic where we could show our work at other sites. Ill try something.
