People seemed pleased with my "How to draw a hand like HS" tutorial. Time for lips. There are less steps, but now the fading of shades is included. Let's start by opening MSPaint.
Step 1: Draw a straight horizontal line of decent length.

Step 2: Draw the ridge of the upper lip. This is done by drawing a line from one end to a bit above the center, but not directly above the center. Do the same for the opposite side. Connect these lines with a "dip" line. I use the line tool and constantly click to draw a curved line rather than using the curvy line tool. This is because the curvy line tool does not give the desired effect for the most part.
[attachmentid=16692]
Step 3: Now using the same "dip" method, draw the bottom of the lip. The bottom ridge of the lip should NOT be completely curved. There should be at least some straight line.
[attachmentid=16693]
Step 4: Time to draw the shadow of the lip. This is simply a giant curve under the lip. Also, there are small triangular shades under the very left and right of the lips.
[attachmentid=16694]
Step 5: Lips have lip lines, so draw them in. There should be lines that come from the center line and sort of curve out on the bottom lip, and lines that seem to bisect the lower lip laterally. Also, add a spot for shine on the upper lip. NOTE - The upper lip is darker than the bottom lip and also has less detail.
[attachmentid=16695]
Step 6: Go to Edit Colors, then colors. Go to the box that says "Lum" and change the number to 50. Fill in the upper lip with this color. Then, bisect the lateral lip line and then bottom lip ridge with this color. Fill with this color as well.
[attachmentid=16696]
Step 7: Select the grey that is directly right of black on the color pallette. Use this color to fill in the triangular shade on the side of the lips. Also, complete the lateral lip lines with this color and fill. Finally, fill in the shine on the upper lip with this color.
[attachmentid=16697]
Step 8: Select the light grey that is directly right of white on the color pallette. Bisect the center line and lateral lip line with this color and fill the bottom half. Do NOT overlap the lip lines.
[attachmentid=16698]
Step 9: Go to Edit Colors, then colors. Go to the box that says "Lum" and change the number to 215. Now, pick a line where you will NOT fill in, this will be where the light hits directly. Once you have, fill in the area around it with the color you have set in Edit Colors (Lum = 215).
[attachmentid=16699]
Step 10: Fill in the lip's shadow with black.
[attachmentid=16700]
Step 11: Now comes in the fading of the shading. This is, of course, the most tedious part of this tutorial. You will layer the outline of the lip's the shadow. You start out outlining it with the Lum 215 gray, then outlining right inside of that outline with the light grey, then outlining right inside of the previous outline with grey, then with Lum 50 gray. Also, remove the shine outline on the upperlip and remove the top ridge outline of the upper lip as well.
The fade should look something like this (imagine each area of color as one pixel):

And the finished result should look like this:

Congratulations! You can now draw lips! You can cut around it and slant the lips to give the appearance of a different angle. Not much else to do. Will eventually work on the hardest tutorial, eyes.
Sweet, when I'm less tired I'l try this out! Goodjob, you are awesome at paint.
Impressive. Can you by any means make RPG style sprites? Like Zelda.

Given the time and the right image in my head, then yes, I could.
Cool you seem like very good at paint.
I was learning how to paint in computer
by myself. I started from last week, I drew a kinda like wraith outa paper
then I tried to paint it on computer. Check it out, its my first completed picture I ever painted in the computer.

ADDITION:
Holysin I like you, can you give me some tips for painting?
I love painting on computers
Only real tip I can give is perfect a style.
Nice guide! I will try that.
And I think everyone knows my style already.

I never thought about that, never knew my style I just started this a short time ago.
Thanks lol for the tip. Never thought of that. What about practice? Everything need practices, I guess thats what I need too.

Style is EVERYTHING when it comes to art and graphics. Without style you are literally nothing. Holysin has huge amounts of style when it comes to his art, so does blissard[vdd]. Style is something that artists work on their entire careers as artisans. Once perfected, they have instant distinction amongst the rest.
Keep up the good work you guys, esp. you holy, I like the guide. Im learning off of it.
I'm good at shadows, shading, and backgrounds.. but not real objects (Except Dark Archons, as seen in the Evolution of my Avatar. I wonder if that topic is still floating around somewhere).
Its amazing what one can do with MSPaint. That is why I love it so much.
Yes, ill try that out sometime

, btw nice tuts HS
