Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone could help me out. I just made a multiplayer map for the first time and was really excited about playing it but there was one problem.. one trigger does not work right. I have tried everything I could to get it to work but it does not seem to.. in multiplayer..

Thats the thing.. it works perfectly in single player but it multiplayer it doest work at all, or is all messed up.. I dont know why and neither do any of the other people I have talked to. I was wondering if any of you could help me get it to work, if you could I would be vary grateful. Its to complicated to explain in words so I have the url with the map file.

Its the vary last trigger under All Players

The Set "Move Player" switches are for moving each players screen back to there bases after the intro, and the switch starts are at the vary end of each players trigger list. Thank you and any help would be appreciated vary much.

This just boggles my mind, and I hope someone can figure it out.

PS. Like I said it works perfectly under single player.. and thats how I would like it to be if it is at all possible. Thanks again.

It would be a lot easier to explain what happens and the effect you want achieved, but that's just me. Otherwise, I would like to help but don't know what you're looking for. pinch.gif

I would like the game to work correctly in multiplayer, that means online. But it does not, it only works right in single player, and I explained the best that I could. Download the game and try to play it online. You dont have to vs someone, you can just play your self and see it does not work. But either way I just want someone to see if they can fix it for me, or find out what the problem is. Thanks again.

First off, in your triggers for extra score for killing multiple bunkers and turrets, you don't need the switches you have in there.

Secondly, to your center view problem. In single player, center view scrolls accross the screen to where you are going to be center viewing on, but pauses the game when this happens. They changed this for multiplayer, creating center views to happen instantaneously instead, because you cannot simply pause the game like you can in single player.

So, to fix it, add Waits inbetween each center view. The game looks like a lot of fun, though; good luck with it!

EDIT: Oh ya, for future reference. You only need 1 switch to do a re-center view on each base, in reality. Just set one "move player" switch and for each player have it so if this switch is set, center on their base. You shouldn't redo this, because what you have works fine, but it takes less switches, and makes copying easier, especially in more complex maps.

dude, we know what multiplayer means...
Why not just set up seperate triggers for every player? and I didn't download that map, Ide rather you tell us the trigger.

His problem is in no way related to having the trigger under "all players," btw. It will work fine once he adds in waits, so there's no reason to change it, seeing he already has the switches set up.
