Chrono Trigger is the best, FF7 is way better then melee. It will be a close match.

Chrono Trigger was a different story, we couldn't find it in any stores, so we were renting it like 1 time every 2 weeks, and were hoping that we would get the same game (with the same saves). Trully good fun

Chrono Trigger was like that. Some one stole the rental stores version. ( I should have, almost would of been cheaper to pay the replacement cost ) I had to order it from a store in a nearby town used for 50 dollars. And this was during the last stages of SNES's popularity. Before the N64 took over.
I love the game, I don't play that many RPG maps, And i have only fully beatin 2 or 3. But I beat Chrono Trigger 3 times, and may do it again some day. I have Nintindo Powers offical Stadagy guide. I almost didn't get that too cause i sent in a really old order form and they were out of stock.

I tried to spam B.net with various messages on both USEast.battle.net and Asia.battle.net. The first two cycles I did on USEast (20 minutes until it was game over) but they already had like 2 or 3 spambots doing the same thing. So, I went on the Asian server and did a couple of cycles only 7 minutes before closing time.
Why did it take me so long?
I asked around for the main channels on the Asian server (aka on USEast, it was Brood War USA-1), and it took me a while to figure out that they were Brood War KOR-1 etc... However, when I got to the channels, none of (or only a small fraction) of the people spoke English so I guess the message didn't get to them. I think the http://www.gamefaqs.com link probably would have tipped them off.
Damn, I wish I knew Korean. The channels were very silent, until it was 12 midnight. Then, chatter was more common around the channels. (I'm not kidding
)
Also, some of our own people "abandoned" us (aka people at various modding communities, various SC sites, etc...)

Of the choices left, Chrono Trigger is the way to go. I got it for $40.00 at Gamestop like a year ago. It's the only copy I've ever seen in person. I also got FF3 there for $40.00 and I got FF2 from a friend for $15.00. I still think that FF3 should in the running, personally.

gamefaqs is a console site anyway. Starcraft was basically the only PC game there.

Oh yeah, i had a problem with the splash screen. My download accelerator would try to download the .wav everytime i visited.. annoying

Free? You mean emulation? Sorry pal, I'm a collector. I collect rare Super Nintendo cartridges. The only rare but popular cartridges I'm still missing are Super Mario RPG and Front Mission. Besides, the computer doesn't have the same feel as playing a Super Nintendo with a controller.

Just checked GameFAQs, and SSBM is getting really owned by FF7. It's 3:30, and I can say gg no re already. FF7 is beating SSBM by over 10 000 votes, so, uh, yeah. I'd say it's FF7 against CT, which should be really interesting.

I think that if StarCraft did make it this far, it probably wouldn't have beaten FF7 anyway.
