How do you make sounds when the player shoots with his unit. I know how to make the sound if there are like masses of zerglings and they die in one hit, but I forgot how to detect it whenever it attacks and not kills a unit.
You can't without EUDs. There's a concepts thread about doing it in this method somewhere.
This has something to do with both EUD conditions and health detection I am told. You might be able to find something like this in the tutorials but this also might be in the concepts forum. I can't help much since I don't know the whole thing but I can help ya on where this topic might be.
Well, there is a way to do it if you only have one unit. Just make it so it plays whenever he gets a kill.

use euds, pretty easy if you know how to do it.
In the ALIENS Rpg map there is sounds when you shoot.
