Ok now before you go ahead an read this, i'm only posting this up now because it seems to be the new upcoming fad, even though this is like a week or two old now lol. Enjoy!

Ok got this for x-mas and just beat it sometime yesterday and let me say. OMFG THIS RULES! The storyline is awsome , the graphics are amazing and the pysics were fun to play with! At the beginning I was walkin around the town just to admire the graphics. But after I beat it I ran into a problem with the storyline...I never played Half Life so I ended up asking myself, who the hells this, what is the combine? and so on and so forth. The one that bothered me the most was who the HELL is G-man? I now know that this G-man likes his ties lol but nothing much else since all i saw him do was walk up to a locked door infront of me, figit with his tie and go threw a door behind him. I mean WTF I wanna know who you are! lol So words of advice, NEVER play Half Life 2 without beating Half Life or you'll get a massive headache wondering whats going on lol.
Omg and I forgot! The gunships and Stryders are so fun! The only way to take them down is to use the rocket launcher and its so fun to use it! It goes where ever your laser is pointing which helps because the Stryders and Gunships will try and shoot it down before it hits. But I love to tease them and have the rocket go around them like 6 times before hitting them. And Dog rules! The best mechanical pet I could ever wish for as an ally! He tosses cars and trucks and its just so funny to watch him beat the crap out of the combine! Anyways that should finish my li'l experience for it for now until i remember more

Graphics: 7 Not bad, infact I liked the animations of the NPCs, nice and smooth.
Sounds: 7 Once again not bad for its time but the robot guy can get annoying.
Story: 6 So far nothings really happening but I have faith that it'll pick up soon.
Fun: 8 This game is extremely fun and the anthology comes with a fun Multiplayer game called Team Fortress so I guess that'd count to half life too.
Overall: 7 Excellent game, a must have!

Story: 9 Excellent story, Valve really knew how to bring me into the world.

I got the games too!
I love them both! Their so fun to play, but my current comp is acting unstable as in unusall restarting out of no where. I used to play them on so much, I was so good too. I can barely play becuase of the unusall restart, I already reinstalled the OS 3 times now.
Still their fun games! Can't wait for the new one!!!

I see you beat half life 2. The ending is Amazing. Love it. Even though i have the second game and it's totaly better than the first i still play #1. I started over and i like the story of both. I totally agree of those grades.

It deservers a 10.0, but physics makes glitches and big maps causes framerate problems. The ending seemed look like a sequl, do you think that there would be Half-Life 3 or a Half-Life 2 Exapansion pack?
If this game only loads once, like Halo 2. Then you won't get annoyed by all those loading screens.

To answer your questions. Yes there is an expansion pack coming soon called Half Life 2: Aftermath.I beat the entire game. The screenshots are by me during gameplay. and its for the PC version.
And yes the loading screens do become annoying after a while but I got used to it. Infact I dont mind the loading and waiting as much as I did the first time I played.

i didnt know this was a contest to see whos comp can handle the most...Yes it is 800x600 but no its not medium settings. Full fledged high settings all over! I could play it on 1024x728 if i wanted im just not used to that kinda res for an FPS. Plus I got 80Gigs of memory with 512MB of Ram...pwnt

The combine are the ones who come through the portal Black Mesa opened up like Xen creatures. Except they declared war on the planet, we couldn't put up a fight so it only lasted seven hours. Now the combine enslaved the humans. You really have to pay attention to newspaper clipings, and what people say to put the story together. And btw, you can't beat WH on foot, the part where you have to jump the ramp you have to lower down with the water booeys, you need the hovercraft or w/e the hell it is. You also need it to shoot down the hunter-chopper at the end. Krazy, you liar.

Haha that explains alot and yes WH cannot be beaten without the Hoverboat thing, unless u cheat and put in noclip but I hate cheaters, they have no honor! lol

Ha ha, play Half-Life 2 1680x1050 on highest settings and then tell me about good graphics. Then, hook up THX certified 5.1 speakers (Logitech Z-5500) and play it like that. Then tell me about how good the stuff is.
Also, it's not my fault if you have a slow computer incapable of handling the best HL2 has to offer. The physics are the best I've seen in any game, ever, and if makes you have slow fps, well it sucks to be you. Don't lower the bloody score because of it though.
