Actually, StarCraft: Ghost was announced at 2002, actual release at 2003, but there wouldn't be any multiplayer at all. Halo: Combat Evolved came out around 2001.

I don't know if it's so great. I mean think about it. Let's say you join a game that started a couple hours ago. There's a whole lot of mutalisks, yet you're going to be a light infantry. This means most of the time you play, you'll be killed in a few seconds.
This is why I don't join those Counter Strike WC3 mod servers.
Anyways, to bad SC:G won't come out on the cube. I was looking forward to it...

Light Infantry can access vehicles, so can ghost except for Heavy Marine and Firebat but I hope that Blizzard has made anti-camp.

Oh yes, saw in a magazine that in multiplayer, you can play as every race

Basicly, choose a race, then kill people and you get points. As you get more points, you can become higher leveled units. I know its:
Terran:
Light Infantry - 0
Marine - 1
Firebat - 2
Ghost - 5
Zerg:
Zergling - 0
Hydralisk - 1
Infested Terran - 2
Mutalisk - 5
Dunno about protoss, it doesn't say. Also, the infested terran has gun usage and suicide

For the protoss, I think I've seen a screenshot, the scout is right in front of you and going to some spot.

If you want this game into the PC version, it will probably take up more space than World of WarCraft and hardwares.
