Does this happen often? i mean, we have all these advanced ways of keeping credit of our maps, but does anyone actually actively see their maps edited and stolen regularly?

I did.

Once because I didn't protect my map at all. The map got stolen into Protect BOB

Another time, I used Proedit 1.3 on Coin Arena and someone stole it (but it didn't spread)

I think stealing isn't as big as it was before simply because it has been proven unbeneficial... the only kinds of map stealing nowadays are pinpoint directed steals that occur against people who already know each other. Whither it be a ploy for revenge or a rage of jealousy... its really not too much to worry about.

But this doesn't mean we should let our guard down.

That's why you use Uber@tion not Proedit.

I got Red2Blue Bound old version unprotected. No, you're not getting it. Meh, never bothered to look into it. If I do, I bet your triggers will be confusing. wink.gif

I can tell he used Proedit.

EDIT: No, I didnt do it. ermm.gif

Yea, I heard everyone has a copy of every map I have unprotected. sad.gif

Uberation isn't as safe as you think.

Sure proedit's code was cracked and there's um... programs that do magical stuff for you, but uberation is new, there's alot of people hot on the trail to crack it.

No, im not trying to crack it (im too lazy and have no clue where to start and don't need to unprotect maps now that I have Mindarchon's newest Trigger Viewer, not that I need to know triggers.... the rambling goes on...).

Sure you didn't do it. wink.gif
